Botswana Chobe Game Reserve 1/8/09 morning safari

I'm writing this from our balcony at 6:00 am overlooking a natural game park. Everything is so green and lush, quiet except for the birds and other animals saying good morning to each other. I would stay longer but Ernest is waiting to take us over to the Chobe National Park, Botswana about 60 minutes away.
We get a few more stamps in our passports as we cross into Botswana.
Our 4th safari was split into 2 parts, the morning we spent cruising up and around the Zambezi River. Relaxing and laid back, nice day great scenery. Lots more crocodiles up close and they were moving. Pod of hippos, noisy and scary. Birds and antelopes. Highlight had to be the elephant bathing in the river then crossing over to the other side. He swam next to our boat within 10 feet of us, an amazing animal, Toni thinks they look like they are smiling. Lunch then off for an afternoon jeep safari.
