Summer In Balboa Park 2008

This year Toni and I have spent many a day strolling through Balboa Park and The San Diego Zoo. We purchased Zoo Passes earlier in the year and living so close it really allowed us to reacquaint ourselves with the park. It was fun to take timeout on our Wednesday off from work and rediscover parts of the park that we had not visited in some time



Visiting the Botanical Building has always been so educational for me, what a magnificent Landmark.

Sunflowers in the gardens make you feel like you are not in downtown San Diego, but some gardens out in the country

The San Diego Zoo has its characters which give you a laugh at every turn

I had not been to the Japanese Friendship Garden in years I never realized they had this beautiful Koi Pond.
